Specialized Foster Care Services is the

largest nonprofit provider of foster care services in the state

and is known for providing high quality services to both

foster children and families. Our Specialized Foster Care

Services assists the state in placing at-risk and special needs

children into quality foster care homes.


FACES (Facilitating, Advocacy,Care, Education, and Shelter)

receives referrals from state intake

coordinators in order to help individuals with

developmental disabilities obtain the support

they need. The program assists individuals in

many ways: providing host homes, in-home

support, licensed home support, day services,

employment and volunteer opportunities.



Adoption Services programs provide access to

stable and compassionate homes for children who have

not had a chance at a secure and stable life. Three types of

adoption services are provided: cooperative domestic infant

adoption, domestic adoption of children, and special needs.

 

A+ Parents is a parenting skills course that promotes

positive, healthy, nurturing interactions between parent

and child, and is offered through our Savannah office. The

program emphasizes family relationships, positive parenting

skills, and family resilience.
