Arriving in Atlanta after Earthquake
Last week 38 Haitian evacuees arrived in Atlanta for medical assistance. Lutheran Services of Georgia has partnered with Refugee Resettlement and Immigration Services of Atlanta (RRISA) to provide emotional, psychological and appropriate spiritual aid to Haitian evacuees to help them deal with the effects of the traumatic January 12th earthquake. Atlanta is expected to receive several hundred more evacuees over the next few months. Donations are needed. If you would like to donate click here.
