About Us

For over 30 years Lutheran Services of Georgia has helped tens of thousands transform their loss, grief and trauma into hope, healing and strength. From placing neglected children into loving homes to providing shelter and employment services for refugees each year, LSG serves thousands of those most in need. With more than twenty programs to meet the needs of the people of Georgia, individuals from newborns to senior citizens are served through our agency. All our programs provide services to persons without regard to race, origin, creed, age, color, or gender. As a private agency, we work with local, state, and federal entities, community organizations, and 140 Lutheran congregations and missions in Georgia. A board of sixteen volunteer directors provides governance and oversees agency operations.
